affordable housing - need is confirmed
The surveys have now been analysed by Jean Fox, the
Rural Housing Enabler, and confirm there is a need for affordable housing
in Akeley.

Conservation
Area
Aylesbury Vale District Council has carried out an
appraisal of Akeley village, and is proposing the designation of
a single, small Conservation Area centred on the historic core
of the settlement
containing a large number of historic buildings.

New
village website for Akeley
This
website for Akeley village has been created by the Parish
Council and is now live.
At
the Parish Council meeting on 12th November, the website was
reviewed and it was agreed to publish it in its present form.
The
Akeley Parish Council website is provided in order to provide
factual and informative content relating to the Parish
Council and the village community. Additionally it is intended
to be used as a method of communication with the village
and anyone who is associated with its local issues or has an
interest in it.
